The Shape of the Week of Prayer and Fasting: 9th - 16th January 2022
Hi all, here are the key elements of the Prayer and Fasting Week, including details of how to sign up for a slot for the 24 Hour Prayer Room. All the meeting information (including any links) can also be found on the Church Center Calendar.
Sunday Celebrations
Sunday 9th and 16th January will be Together Sundays at the start and end of the Prayer and Fasting Week. On Sunday 9th we will launch and envision you for the week of prayer and fasting. On Sunday 16th January we'll be having a ‘Celebration and Feasting Sunday’ to end our time of prayer and fasting and hear of what God has been doing and saying.
2. Life Group Daily Podcasts
We’ll be producing podcasts each day Monday to Saturday which will be distributed via Life Groups. The Podcast will include some enourgagement from scripture, some reflections on this and some key prayer points. If you want to receive these, but are not in a Life Church please contact Kate at the church office (office@kingschurch.com)
3. Prayer Meetings
We will have Sunrise Zoom Prayer Meetings 7.30-8.00am Monday to Friday (Meeting ID: 862 350 316, Passcode: prayer)
We will have a largely worship-focused prayer meeting on Tuesday 8pm at TD URC.
We will have a largely prayer-focused prayer meeting on Friday at 7-pm at TD URC to kick off our 24 Hour Prayer Day.
4. 24 Hour Prayer Room
We will have a 24 hour prayer day at TD URC starting Friday 7pm (with a prayer meeting) and finishing on the Saturday at 7pm. (FYI, We are waiting for conformation that we can use the TD venue for this Prayer Room but are hopeful we will get confirmation this week.)
Please sign up for different 1 hour slots throughout the day to pray. You can sign up for more than one slot. Here is the sign up sheet sheet. More than one person can sign up for a slot. We'd suggest that if in slot with just one other person it is either someone of the same sex or your spouse.
